Holistic Health Should Be An Option

As a cancer survivor, and someone who healed naturally after having the tumor removed and one chemo treatment before stopping all conventional treatment, I believe that we all should have the freedom to choose what type of healthcare we want. Afterall, we're paying for it.

When doctors tell patients there's nothing more that can be done for them, that's true. There is nothing more they can do because they only know what they're taught. Their scope of expertise is in modern medicine, not natural or holistic medicine. But that doesn't mean nothing more can be done for someone. Oftentimes, holistic medicine can make a huge impact and difference in someone's life and health. Holistic medicine isn't an "alternative" medicine as we're led to believe. Holistic medicine has been around since the beginning of time. Conventional medicine is the new kid on the block, being around only since the 19th century. The American Medical Association is under 200 years old.

The main difference between holistic doctors and medical doctors is that holistic doctors are trained to get to the root of the problem and medical doctors are taught how to treat symptoms with drugs and surgeries.

Insurance companies would be more likely pay less money out for those who see holistic doctors because they're more likely to change their diet and lifestyle. Those who do this find they are healthier.

Let's show our government officials with an overwhelmingly number of signatures that we stand together on this issue and that we want our voices to be heard - Include holistic medicine in health insurance!

Won't you please sign the petition and share it?

Thank you!

Lisa
